e-Builder Framework, our on-demand project management and collaboration platform.
The main advantage of the Framework model is that it provides you with strategic optionality - the ability to choose a solution based on your immediate needs, and the flexibility to upgrade to a different solution as your needs evolve. This way you are not tied into one solution that might not fit your needs in 6 months or a year and not have a feasible upgrade option. Since the e-Builder Framework is packaged into several product suites including Enterprise, Collaborator, and Professional, you can purchase only the functions you need and upgrade at any moment with just a phone call - we do the rest.
How it Works
The e-Builder Framework is the heart of our product suite, our proprietary project management and collaboration platform. The Framework includes all of the application capabilities - including document management, business process management, calendars, budgets, and cost and schedule control. In addition, the Framework provides the reporting capabilities including the desktop reports, print reports and email notifications. The e-Builder Framework is developed using Microsoft .NET technology and is .NET certified by Microsoft.
Our systems are scalable and can handle as many users, projects, and data elements as you require. Also, the Framework is built using a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and uses Web Services and XML to facilitate the transaction and integration of data across multiple systems (e.g., ERP, accounting, etc.).

The e-Builder suite of products is an ASP solution delivered on-demand, as a web based subscription via the Framework. That means you do not have to incur the high costs associated with purchasing hardware and/or software, nor do you need to worry about configuring the system to get started. Additionally, e-Builder can be accessed from anywhere you have access to the internet – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Secure
e-Builder has been certified as SAS 70 Type II compliant. The e-Builder application along with your data is located in a state of the art secure data center. All software and data are protected by redundant firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and 128 bit encryption. Scalable
With the e-Builder on-demand Framework, your IT staff won’t need to support additional hardware and software. e-Builder operates and maintains the system so you can focus on your business. We provide fully redundant web application and database servers, load balancing hardware and software, multiple data connections to the Internet, daily back-ups and disaster recovery systems including a secondary data center. In addition, we monitor the systems 24X7 and proactively add equipment and capacity to meet and exceed strict performance criteria.
Customizable
The e-Builder integration model allows information to be exchanged through standard web services and XML. This integration capability provides for easy integration of the e-Builder Framework with other third party systems or legacy systems to meet specific customer requirements.
